In a previous post, I talked about how much I loved my eyebrows when Kizzy tinted them so I dove deeper into my microblading research.
I had already started following several local spas/companies that offered the services but baby the cost 😩. About a week before Christmas, a friend made a Facebook post seeking recommendations for brow tattoo people. I started following for comments. Several stated she should avoid that and do microblading instead. Many included tags of professionals they use.
I immediately clicked on each recommendation to look at the pictures of their work. I was very impressed with @theeeyebrowsurgeon on Instagram. I began following her and seeing her posts more regularly.
I still wasn’t on board because listen, everyone I saw on YouTube etc complained about how painful it was. I have no ink AT ALL so I have no clue what that even feels like but I’ve seen posts saying microblading was worse😳
One day I saw that @theeeyebrowsurgeon was running Christmas specials that were so affordable. I took that as a sign to book, settled on the 3D combo brows and made an appointment for December 29th.
I told her before hand and when I arrived how scared I was. She assured me I had nothing to be afraid of. I had to laugh when she asked if I’d ever given birth, I told her I had two cesareans. She then said “if you’ve given birth, microblading is nothing”.
The office space was cute and clean. It’s a suite where she works with a couple other vendors. I even bought a super cute dress while I was there 😁.

Marthel is beyond professional, gentle, knowledgeable, and her spirit is right. She showed me what was going on every step of the way and let me approve the shape before she did anything. I experienced very minimal pain prior to numbing for maybe 3-5 mins each brow when she did the outline. I can’t say that it hurts but it is an extremely weird and uncomfortable feeling. Let me say her numbing cream is my BFF lol.
She explained the entire treatment and healing process, the good/bad/ugly, dos and donts and how/when to schedule my follow up.

1st microblading session
During the first few week or so darking, thickening and scabbing/flaking happened. Then it kind of looked like the ink was completely gone.

About 14 days in, I started to fall in love with my brows. I could see the shape.

As of January 28th, it has been a full 30 days since I got my brows done and I LOVE them! If you are in Palm Beach County and looking for a microblading specialist, @theeeyebrowsurgeon is a BEAST and I highly recommend her. I went from having sparse eyebrows to waking up with full natural looking ones.

My followup appointment is February 26th and I’m looking forward to the finishing touches which will fill them in more. If you’re on the fence… do it!
