Truce Wright, Truce Wright, Truce Wright! Sir, come to the front of the congregation right quick.
Help me to understand how you get invited to that man’s house, disrespect him flat out by ignoring his existance, flirting with his woman AND take his woman from him? How? No pretense, bold AF and just sexy AF on top of it.
Chile, my introduction to Indigo Falls was somethin lol.
Truce son’d that man every chance he got! Refused to shake his hand or acknowledge him or his brother while in their house. And thennnnn had Sanai so open she let him get it while her man was sleeping in another room downstairs. MAN WHAT?! When they say don’t let your boyfriend stop you from finding your husband? Truce is the husband and he made that abundantly clear.
Sanai, now mama you knew something was up with ya man Jaxson and ya so called sister Yara from jump so idk why you let them play in your face the way they did. But I am glad Truce was able to let down his guard enough to be exactly what and how Sanai needed him to be. She was most definitely exactly what he needed as well. They both poured into one another in so many ways and saw each other on a level much deeper than the surface.
And why is my favorite part of this book the part where he had his way w/ Sanai IN JAXSON’S OFFICE and made her hit him up on facetime so he could watch. Let’s not forget her birthday dinner scene where her “man” and friends were sitting at the table in the restaurant with her but Truce fingered her right there. LMAO this man had ZERO fucks to give when it came to how he felt about Sanai. They each had their own trauma to deal with and watching them heal and open up to one another was beautiful.
I loved their romance and all the drama that came with it!
This is book 1 of 3 and I highly recommend this series by @pennedbyzeerenee.
TW: infidelity (not the MCs), betrayal
Rating: Truce Wright has zero fucks to give, and I am here for every single bit of it. 10/10 no notes.
